MOSCOW. Nov 28 (Interfax-AVN) - An unidentified helicopter flew over the Georgian-Ossetian conflict zone on Sunday, a representative of the peacekeepers' headquarters told Interfax-Military News Agency by phone from Tskhinvali on Monday.
"It was an Mi-8. Its origin is still unknown," he said. "The chopper flew over the village of Tnelisi, from the south to the west. It was flying at a height of 800 meters."
None of the parties to the conflict or regional states said that the helicopter belonged to it, the source said.
The peacekeepers command views the unauthorized flight as a flagrant violation of the July 30, 2002, decision of the Joint Control Commission, he said.
