CSTO to continue compiling list of terrorist groups

MOSCOW. Nov 30 (Interfax-AVN) - The secretaries of the security councils of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) reached an agreement on Tuesday to continue compiling a list of terrorist and extremist groups threatening member states of the organization.

"The representatives of all member states were in favor of the need for such a document. However, it was pointed out that groups on the list should pose a threat that is obvious to all signatories to the treaty and not just to individual members of it," CSTO General Secretary Nikolai Bordyuzha told Interfax-Military News Agency.

"One more important principle that will underlie the list is that it must not be used for domestic political struggles within states," he said.
