KHASAVYURT. Nov 30 (Interfax-South) - Police in Solnechnoye, Dagestan, have arrested an accomplice of a militant group operating on the border with Chechnya, a local police source told Interfax on Wednesday.
"Two hand grenades and cartridges were found during the examination of the detainee, who was born in 1981. It has been established that he was involved in storing militants' arms and ammunition and collecting information on the deployment and movement of federal troops," the source said.
Law enforcers are screening the detainee's involvement in other crimes committed in the district.
