KYIV. Dec 14 (Interfax-AVN) - Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief and Chief of Staff Serhiy Kyrychenko will discuss prospects of enhancing bilateral military cooperation during his two-day visit to the Czech Republic, the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
"Today, on the first day of the visit, Serhiy Kyrychenko is expected to meet with Czech Army Chief of Staff Pavel Stefka. When the meeting is over, talks between military delegations of the two countries will take place," a press service official told Interfax-Military News Agency.
During the talks, the parties are planning to discuss the state and prospects of enhancing cooperation between the two countries' armed forces, as well as Ukraine's cooperation with NATO, he said. In addition, Kyrychenko and Stefka will share experience in armed forces reform and development.
Also on Wednesday, Kyrychenko will meet with Czech Defense Minister Karel Kuehnl.
During the visit, Ukrainian delegation officials will study work arrangement at the Czech Defense Ministry's unified operations center and travel to the Czech army's enlightenment and study center.
