MOSCOW. Dec 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Aeroflot - Russian Airlines, following a tender earlier this year, has decided to order 22 new Boeing-787 airliners worth over $2.5 billion from Boeing corporation over a period of 10-15 years, the Vedomosti daily reports.
"Aeroflot has launched talks with Boeing on agreeing delivery terms," a source close to the company said.
Aeroflot had the choice of two new models - Beoing-787 and Airbus-350 - and had promised to announce its decision before the end of the year.
