MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax-AVN) - About 120 investigations into cases of hazing in the interior troops were opened in 2005, Russian Interior Ministry Forces Commander-in-Chief Nikolai Rogozhkin said.
"Luckily, the situation is not hopeless in the Interior Ministry Forces. However, a report of just one hazing incident is a disgrace for commanders of all levels," the general told a news conference in Moscow on Monday.
"Incidences of hazing are relatively rare in the Interior Ministry Forces as intensive service leaves servicemen with little free time," Rogozhkin said.
