Only one spacewalk remains in plans of ISS Expedition 13

KOROLYOV, Moscow Region. March 30 (Interfax-AVN) - The crew of Expedition 13 to the International Space Station (ISS) will make one spacewalk during their stay in orbit, head of the ISS Russian segment Vladimir Solovyov said on Wednesday.

Pavel Vinogradov of Russia and Jeffrey Williams of the U.S. were originally supposed to make two spacewalks, Solovyov told reporters. However, "one spacewalk was dropped" from the Russian flight program because "some equipment" is not ready, he said.

"We are considering the chances of arranging the spacewalk in May or June," Solovyov stressed.
