Tarasyuk to attend Ukraine-NATO commission meeting

KYIV. April 4 (Interfax-AVN) - Ukrainian Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk will attend a meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission in Sofia on April 28 as part of NATO foreign ministers' informal meetings.

The Ukraine-NATO Commission will focus on the outcome of the Ukrainian parliamentary elections and its impact on the country's foreign policy, Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesman Vasyl Filipchuk told the press on Tuesday.

The parties will also discuss "cooperation within the framework of an intensified dialogue and results of reform in Ukraine," Filipchuk said.

The Ukrainian foreign minister will also attend a conference entitled "NATO Transformation - Facing New Security Frontiers," organized by the Bulgarian Center for Studying Democracy due to take place on April 28-29.
