GROZNY. June 26 (Interfax-AVN) - Two large arms caches have been destroyed in a special operation in Chechnya, Chechen Interior Ministry spokesman Amin Deniyev told Interfax on Monday.
Seven Kalashnikov assault rifles, a foreign-made pistol, a Kalashnikov machinegun, four shoulder-held anti-tank grenade launchers, anti-tank grenades, artillery projectiles, over 3,000 cartridges, electric detonators and fake seals were found 1.5 kilometers west of the village of Vinogradnoye in the Grozny rural district, he said.
Two shoulder-held anti-tank grenade launchers, Kalashnikov cartridge clips, ammunition, camouflage uniform and radio sets were found in the village of Proletarskoye in the Grozny rural district. The information about that arms cache was received from a detained militant.
