MOSCOW. June 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian-U.S. relations are crucial to strategic stability, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Russian ambassadors on Tuesday.
"Of course, we will have to change a great deal in our attitude to each other. But in order to make these changes positive, politicians in both countries need to accept it as an axiom that a partnership between global powers such as Russia and the U.S. can be built based exclusively on the principles of equality and mutual respect," the president said.
