MOSCOW. July 3 (Interfax-AVN) - Two men suspected of providing information about federal forces' bases and movement to criminal armed groups have been arrested in Chechnya, a source in Chechnya's law enforcement services told Interfax-Military News Agency by phone.
One of the suspects was detained in his home in the village of Rubezhnoye in Chechnya's Naura district. "He is suspected of supplying food and medicines to criminal armed groups in 1994-95, and gathering intelligence about the location and movement of federal troops," he said.
The other suspect was arrested in Sernovodsk in Chechnya's Sunzha district. "The man is suspected of providing militants since 2001 with weapons and medicines, and information about federal forces," the source said.
