MOSCOW. July 18 (Interfax-AVN) - President Vladimir Putin has placed the National Anti-Terrorist Committee in charge of coordinating the efforts of Russian special services aimed at tracking and eliminating the murderers of Russian diplomats in Iraq, Nikolai Patrushev, Director of the Federal Security Service and head of the Anti-Terrorist Committee has said.
"This applies to finding and liquidating the terrorists involved in the abduction and murder of Russian diplomats in Iraq," he said, opening the third meeting of the committee on Tuesday.
"The Russian president placed the committee in charge of coordinating the operations of special services and overseeing these efforts," Patrushev said.
