TBILISI. July 26 (Interfax-AVN) - The anti-criminal operation in the Kodori Gorge will be completed within the next several hours, Georgian presidential chief of staff Giorgi Arveladze told journalists on Wednesday.
"The jurisdiction of the Georgian central authorities will be fully restored in the Kodori Gorge, and all the criminals will receive due punishment," Arveladze said.
"Police are control virtually all the territory of the Kodori Gorge," he said.
Arveladze denied reports claiming that a man was killed in the operation. According to the information he possessed, only two police officers were wounded in the operation.
