KHABAROVSK. July 27 (Interfax-AVN) - The crash of a Beriyev Be-203 plane in Khabarovsk was caused by engine failure, early reports indicate.
"The engines failed. It is for experts to find out why they failed. We don't yet know why we crashed," Alexei Stepchenkov, deputy general director of the KnAAPO aircraft-making plant, who was aboard the plane, told reporters.
He was taken to a hospital in Khabarovsk with a broken leg.
