MOSCOW. Aug 23 (Interfax-AVN) - The crash of a Pulkovo Airlines Tupolev Tu-154 near Donetsk could have been caused by the plane's fall into an uncontrollable spin after it reached critical altitude, a flight safety expert close to the commission probing the crash told Interfax-Military News Agency on Wednesday.
"Data obtained at the crash site indicates that the plane fell into an uncontrollable spin during the last minutes of its flight, possibly because it had gone above the maximum altitude ceiling set for this type of plane," he said.
