MOSCOW. Sept 11 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian private companies may take part in the creation of a component database, Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said at a meeting with the Military Industrial Commission in Moscow on Monday.
"We should think about the role of private businesses. The government can help form the demand for private businesses' products, and not only military ones, while private businesses should organize production and make their products competitive," he said.
"That is what our efforts should target. We have such a potential," he said.
