Belarussian Air Force official takes part in air forces commanders conference in Croatia

MINSK. Nov 13 (Interfax-AVN) - Deputy Commander of the Belarussian Air Force and Air Defense Forces Colonel Vladimir Bashtanenko is taking part in the conference of air forces commanders of NATO member- and partner-states, held in Croatia from Sunday to Tuesday, the Belarussian Defense Ministry's press-service told Interfax-AVN.

According to a press-service official, the Belarussian military official will discuss aircraft flights data exchange, and examine new trends in the Partnership for Peace (PfP) program and NATO air defense policy.

"In addition to that, he plans to investigate the feasibility of expanding cooperation between the Belarussian Air Force and Air Defense Forces and air forces of PfP signatories, as well as discuss strengthening trust and cooperation in enforcing airspace security and flights data exchange with Latvia, Lithuania, and Poland.
