MOSCOW. Nov 14 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's top military officials gathered in Moscow for a four-day meeting on Tuesday, Defense Ministry spokesman Col. Vyacheslav Sedov told Interfax-AVN.
The meeting is being attended by military commanders of all levels, and the agenda includes the troops' combat and mobilization training, and ways to strengthen order and military discipline in the armed forces, Sedov said.
The military commanders will spend the first two days working at the command headquarters of the arms and services, which will be followed by an expanded meeting of top-level commanders at the Defense Ministry on November 16.
The main report will be delivered by Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov, who will speak about combat training in the armed forces and navy in 2006, and outline plans for 2007.
The expanded meeting will be attended by Cabinet members, parliamentary deputies and senators, and Kremlin officials.
