Belarus to renew air force and air defense inventory - commander

MINSK. Nov 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The state armament and military hardware development program provides for renewing the inventory of the Belarussian Air Force and Air Defense, Lieutenant General Oleg Paferov, Air Force and Air Defense commander, told a news conference on Tuesday.

Asked by Interfax about the possibility of UAV procurement by Belarus, Paferov said that "we will definitely develop" this sphere. At the moment the Belarussian army does not have a single UAV in the inventory, he noted.

Asked whether Belarus could also buy Russian Su-30 fighters, he replied that "we will soon get to know" the answer to this question.
