Ukrainian, Polish military to share experience in technical support of combat aviation actions

KYIV. Nov 14 (Interfax-AVN) - A Ukrainian military delegation has left for Poland to study experience in arranging communication, radio-technical support and use of information systems in the air force, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said on Tuesday.

"A delegation of Ukrainian Air Force signalmen left for Poland to study Polish colleagues' experience in arranging communication, radio-technical support and use of information systems in accordance with NATO standards," a ministry spokesman told Interfax-AVN.

In particular, the Ukrainian signalmen will study Polish experience in adjusting the aviation flight support service to NATO standards, methods of upgrading available radio communication assets and radio-technical backing of flights, he said.

At an airbase of the Ukrainian Air Force, the Ukrainian guests will be briefed on practical aspects of radio-technical support and communication arrangement.

The delegation's visit will last until Thursday.
