Ural motorcar builders supply Emergencies Ministry with new trucks

MOSCOW. Nov 15 (Interfax-AVN) - The Ural motorcar plant, which is a division of the GAZ Group, have shipped a batch of brand-new Ural trucks to the Emergencies Ministry.

"After distribution procedures, the trucks will come into operation as part of specialized mobile emergencies management brigades," reads the press release of the plant received by Interfax-AVN on Wednesday.

It holds that such brigades will have three trucks each: two Ural-4320 6x6 vehicles with trailers and a 30-seater Ural-3255 6x6 bus.

It is also mentioned in the press release that the UralPerm company that is an official dealer of the Ural plant had fine-tuned the vehicles to meet the requirements specified by the client, including as far as their airlifting is concerned. The vehicles are painted white - the traditional color for the Emergencies Ministry. The trucks are equipped with individual tents and have reinforced hoods, while the bus features an internal bulkhead separating the passenger compartment from cargo.

The Ural plant is the prime supplier of the Emergencies Ministry as far as special-purpose vehicles are concerned.
