MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian military commanders and representatives of executive and legislative authorities convened at the Defense Ministry on Thursday.
Commanders of the armed services, military districts, fleets and the ministry's main departments are attending the meeting.
Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sergey Ivanov will sum up results of the armed forces' training in 2006 and define priorities of the armed forces' development in 2007.
The armed forces' exercises, mobilization readiness and military discipline will also be on the agenda.
Representatives of the presidential administration, the government, the parliament and law-enforcement agencies are taking part in the meeting.
