Three generals dismissed for using soldiers as non-military labor - Ivanov

MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax-AVN) - Three generals have been dismissed for ordering soldiers to do work not connected with their military duties this year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov said.

"Probes have been launched regarding three other generals," Ivanov told a meeting of top-level commanders in Moscow on Thursday.

"Criminal action has been started against more than 50 officials for the same offense," he said.
