MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax-AVN) - The Sukhoi Aviation Holding Company will demonstrate its most advanced achievements at the INDO DEFENSE EXPOFORUM 2006 to be convened in Jakarta, Indonesia, on November 22-25.
"The central part of the Sukhoi bench will be occupied by the various planes of the company, including both military, represented by thee multirole super-agile Su-30MK2 fighter, and commercial, represented by the Sukhoi Superjet 200," reads the company's press release received by Interfax-AVN on Friday.
The commercial sector in the holding company's business will also be represented by the multi-role short-to-medium haul airliner, the Su-80GP, and the Be-103 amphibian, both renowned in Southeast Asia.
"Sukhoi's section at the air show will reflect the diversified nature of its businesses, supreme research and development and technological potential and willingness to cooperate with foreign partners in combat and commercial aircraft building," reads the release.
Sukhoi expects that participants in this world-recognized air show will be very much interested in the latest achievements of the holding, and is going to hold a number of meetings with traditional and potential business partners. The products to be demonstrated by Sukhoi will constitute a part of the joint Russian exposition. It is the second time that the company is taking part in the exhibition in a bid to promote its aircraft in Southeast Asian countries, reads the press release.
