HANOI. Nov 20 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian and U.S. presidents Vladimir Putin and George W. Bush hope for the resumption of six-nation talks on North Korea's nuclear problem in December, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"Representatives of Russia and the other countries involved in the talks are negotiating details," Lavrov said after the Putin-Bush talks in Hanoi.
The Russian and U.S. leaders have also agreed to continue work on the problem of Iran's nuclear program based on the agreements earlier reached between Europe and China in aiming to facilitate the International Atomic Energy Agency's efforts through the UN Security Council.
"The resolution which I think will be finally passed by the UN Security Council will deal precisely with what we've been discussing from the start - support for the International Atomic Energy Agency's efforts and the formulation of measures that would clear the questions the IAEA has to Iran, not more than that," Lavrov said.
