KYIV. Nov 20 (Interfax-AVN) - A team of officers of the Ukrainian Air Force will attend specialized courses in Poland to familiarize themselves with new ICAO requirements and NATO procedures related to air transportation, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's press service reported on Monday.
"The team of Ukrainian Air Force specialists that arrived in Poland on Monday will attend IFR courses for transport aviation pilots that provide for studying rules of flights using navigation equipment," the report reads.
In particular, the Ukrainian servicemen will study the work of the air traffic control and management service, as well as documents and procedures related to backing flights on air traffic support routes in accordance with ICAO and NATO requirements. They will familiarize themselves with the order of providing and receiving radio navigation aid while flying in the controlled area, it says.
The Ukrainian delegation's visit to Poland will end on Friday.
