MOSCOW. Nov 20 (Interfax-AVN) - The second international arms show Indo Defense 2006 Expo & Forum is to be held in Jakarta from Wednesday to Saturday.
This year's show will be attended by representatives of 18 Russian defense-industry companies, the Federal Military-Technical Cooperation Service said in a statement on Monday.
Exhibits from Sukhoi, Salyut, Almaz-Antey, KBP, Oboronitelnye Sistemy, Rubin and Admiralteiskiye Verfi are expected to draw the most attention, the statement says.
Russian defense industry companies have a great opportunity to present its products to potential partners from Indonesia and other Asia-Pacific countries at the show, it says.
The official delegation of the Federal Military-Technical Cooperation Service comprises representatives of Russian state bodies, enterprises and organizations involved in military-technical cooperation, and leading defense industry companies, the statement stresses.
