MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Unprecedented security measures are expected to be taken on South Ossetian Presdeint Eduard Kokoity's day of inauguration, the breakaway republic's authorities said in a posting on its official website.
"Law enforcement services anticipate provocations and subversive acts on November 25 on the part of Georgian special services and their collaborators," the South Ossetian authorities said.
They also said that all motor vehicles will be thoroughly checked, and ID checks will be tightened.
"Other security measurers will also be taken to prevent provocations," the website says.
