MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Quadripartite negotiations on the situation in the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict zone due to be held on Thursday have been cancelled because of the absence of the Georgian coordinator.
"The meeting in the village of Chuburkhinji, in the Gali district, Abkhazia did not take place because of the absence of the Georgian coordinator. The coordinator has not been appointed," assistant commander of the CIS Collective Peacekeeping Force in the Georgian-Abkhaz conflict zone Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Gordeyev told Interfax-AVN.
The negotiations were expected to involve representatives of Russia, Georgia, the CIS collective peacekeeping force and the UN mission.
