UK authorities should probe Litvinenko’s death – Kremlin official

HELSINKI. Nov 24 (Interfax-AVN) - An investigation into the death of former Russian special services officer Alexander Litvinenko in London is a matter for UK law enforcement agencies, first deputy of the Russian president's press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"A person's death is always a tragedy. This investigation is a matter for law enforcement services of the United Kingdom, where Litvinenko had lived in recent years," he said.
