MOSCOW. Dec 6 (Interfax-AVN) - The address sent by the Abkhaz parliament to Russian authorities calling on them to recognize Abkhazia's sovereignty and to establish associated relations with it "should be taken into consideration by the world community in full measure," says a State Duma statement adopted by deputies as a guideline.
"The State Duma holds that Russia should develop its policy taking into consideration the address from the Abkhaz parliament asking to recognize its independence and establish associated relations, in accordance with international legal norms and precedents, as well as Russian law," the document says.
