Ukraine’s involvement in NMD has not been discussed – PM

KYIV. Jan 30 (Interfax-AVN) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych has said that the question of Ukraine's willingness to participate in the program of hosting elements of U.S. National Missile Defense (NMD) has not been raised.

"I have not heard it. As far as I know it does not exist today," he said at a Tuesday news conference in Lviv answering a question whether he was aware of Ukraine's willingness to join the program.

He refrained from commenting on the deployment of such elements in the Czech Republic and Poland.
