MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax-AVN) - More than 300 terrorist attacks were prevented in Russia in 2006, and the terrorist threat in Russia has decreased significantly, Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) head and head of the National Anti-terrorist Committee General Nikolai Patrushev said.
"Today, we cannot guarantee that every terrorist attack will be prevented, however, the fact is that the efficiency of the activity to prevent them has increased," he told journalists at a briefing dedicated to the first anniversary of establishing the National Anti-Terrorist Committee in Moscow on Tuesday.
