MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov has signed an instruction authorizing the Foreign Ministry to sign a Russian-German agreement on the disposal of Russia's chemical weapons stockpiles.
The document "accepts a proposal put forward by the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation to conclude an intergovernmental agreement between the Russian Federation and Germany on cooperation in the destruction of chemical weapons stockpiles in Russia in 2007 and subsequent years through an exchange of notes."
The proposal has been "agreed upon with all the federal executive power bodies in charge of these issues," the document says.
Fradkov ordered the Foreign Ministry to exchange notes on behalf of the Russian government.
