NAZRAN. July 6 (Interfax-AVN) - Several servicemen were killed or wounded when militants opened fire on the 503rd motorized rifle regiment in the village of Troitskaya, Ingushetia, early on Friday morning, a source in the republic's law enforcement agencies told Interfax.
"The attack took place early on Friday morning, July 6. Automatic weapons, grenade and mine launchers were fired from several directions. The preliminary information available to us indicates that some of the regiment's servicemen were killed or wounded," the source said.
An investigation is underway, he said.
