Commission for South Ossetia to hold another meeting in Tskhinvali region

TBILISI. July 25 (Interfax) - Another meeting of the state commission for the status of Georgia's former South Ossetian Autonomous Region will take place on Saturday, July 28 in the Kurta village in the Tskhinvali region, Georgian State Minister for Conflicts Resolution David Bakradze told journalists on Wednesday.

"The work of the commission does not serve narrow political interests. Its goal is to develop a political pattern acceptable for everyone. I would try once again to attract the de facto South Ossetian authorities to the work of the commission," Bakradze said.

According to earlier reports, Georgian Prime Minister Zurab Nogaideli instructed Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bezhuashvili to ask the Russian and EU authorities to cooperate with the commission.
