KYIV. July 30 (Interfax-AVN) - Ukraine and Nigeria are looking into a feasibility of developing a space launch system in Nigeria for launching new-generation Ukrainian launch vehicles (LV).
The concept was discussed ooperation prospects in this field had been discussed during a recent visit of the Nigerian National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) to Ukraine, the Ukrainian National Space Agency told Interfax-AVN. The two sides also agreed that Nigerian experts would undergo training at a number of Ukrainian colleges.
NASRDA has already provided the Ukrainian side with initial data on developing Earth remote probing satellites.
