Conclusions on Georgia’s claim bomb was dropped on Gori should not be made hastily - Kulakhmetov

TBILISI. Aug 7 (Interfax_AVN) - No conclusions about Georgian claims a bomb was dropped on its Gori district on Monday should be drawn before experts working at the scene produce a report, Commander of the Joint Peacekeeping Force in the Georgina-Ossetia conflict zone Marat Kulakhmetov said.

"Our posts registered aircraft in flight, but too many question have arisen about the pilot's performance and about the bombs dropped," Kulakhmetov told journalists while visiting the scene of the incident on Tuesday.

Conclusions can only be made after a monitoring group working at the scene has examined all the circumstances," he said.

Russian special envoy Yury Popov made a similar statement to the press in Georgia on Tuesday.

"Several queries have arisen regarding this incident. Let us take our time and wait for a report by the monitoring group," Popov said.
