- The Russian Interior Ministry Department for combating organized crime and terrorism will give a press conference on its activities in investigating kidnappings at the Russian Interior Ministry in Moscow at 11 a.m.
- The Kremlevskaya Zorya International Military Festival will open in the Red Square in Moscow.
- The Russian-Indian Indra 2007 anti-terror exercise is being held at the Kresty airbase outside Pskov. The exercise will be completed on September 20.
- The Siberian Military District is holding a large-scale command post exercise in Altai. The exercise will last until September 16.
- A large-scale CPEX involving military commissariats and units will continue outside Tambov until September 14.
- A Belgian inspection team is visiting Belarus under the CFE Treaty. The visit will continue until September 14.
- The Defense Systems & Equipment International Exhibition and Conference is continuing its work in London.
