CHITA. Oct 2 (Interfax-AVN) - Col. Gen. Alexander Postnikov, the commander of the Siberian military district, has met with Col. Tserendojiyn Dorjhuu, the Director of the Mongolian Armed Forces' monitoring directorate, who heads the working group of military experts, which arrived in the Siberian military district.
"The sides exchanged view over the prospects of development of cooperation between the Siberian military district and the Mongolian General Staff," Col. Valery Shcheblanin, the Siberian MD spokesman, told Interfax-AVN on Tuesday, noting that some practical measures were discussed, aimed to improve the military-technical cooperation.
He quoted Gen. Postnikov as saying that he is "satisfied with the current state of affairs in the relations with Mongolian colleagues, and with the level of tasks set forth in the joint action plan."
