Inspections uncovered numerous violations in checkpoint equipment at Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo and Bykovo airports near Moscow and at the airports of Belgorod, Byransk, Kursk and Voronezh. Violations of security zones around airport terminals were also registered.
None of Moscow airports has a three-level luggage screening system due to the absence of the necessary equipment, the agency says.
Numerous violations of fire safety regulations were uncovered at Domodedovo airport.
Lack of proper maintenance of artificial runways were registered at Sheremetyevo airport's Ostafyefo airfield.
