Ukraine plans military exercises with Georgia

KYIV. Oct 22 (Interfax-AVN) - Georgian servicemen have been invited to take part in military exercises in Ukraine next year by Ukrainian Defense Minister Anatoly Hrytsenko.

Hrytsenko spoke about the invitation in Kyiv on Sunday after meeting his Georgian counterpart David Kezerashvili.

The two ministers discussed military-political cooperation, in particular the training of personnel of the Georgian Armed Forces at Ukraine's military colleges and academies.

Hrytsenko said they also discussed military-technical cooperation, namely the repairs and delivery of arms systems to Georgia on a mutually-beneficial basis.
