Abkhazia unhappy with outcome of UN SC’s latest session

SUKHUMI. April 25 (Interfax-AVN) - Abkhazia has expressed profound disappointment with the outcome of this week's session of the UN Security Council, which debated a recent air incident above Abkhazia.

"The blatant violations of the ceasefire and disengagement agreements by Georgia, manipulation of facts and military provocations were not given an appropriate assessment by the UN, by the UN Group of Friends, or by the international community," the Abkhaz Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.

Since August 2007, the Georgian side has been continuously deceiving all parties involved in the negotiations, openly denying involvement in these violations, the statement says.
