LONDON. May 15 (Interfax-AVN) - Britain will support Ukraine's bid to integrate with NATO, Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko told the press after talks with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown in London on Thursday.
This issue was discussed in the talks, and the pledge was documented in a joint statement, the Ukrainian president said.
"Ukraine will become a NATO member. We'll cooperate in order to attain this goal as soon as possible," Yushchenko said, reading out the declaration.
