MOSCOW. Aug 12 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has asked the Defense Ministry to prepare a list of people deserving state awards for their participation in the operation in South Ossetia.
"I am asking you, Anatoly Eduardovich, to submit proposals on state awards to the people who took part in the operation," Medvedev said during a meeting with Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov and General Staff chief Nikolai Makarov on Tuesday.
