MINSK. Sept 24 (Interfax-AVN) - The Ostrovetskaya site in the Grodno region has been chosen as a priority location for a Belarusian nuclear power plant (NPP), a source with the NPP administration told Interfax.

"The state commission recommended Ostrovetskaya as the main site. Krasnopolyanskaya and Kukshinovskaya were chosen to be backup ones. There are no restrictive factors, but infrastructure is better on the Ostrovetskaya" site, the source said.
