KYIV. Sept 25 (Interfax-AVN) - Ukraine's Security Service has said it will not allow Russian special services to set up "extremist organizations" in Ukraine.
"We feel Russian special services are actively setting up and training extremist groups to operate in Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Tiraspol. The Security Service will not allow such activities on Ukraine's territory," Security Service spokesperson Maryna Ostapenko said at a news conference in Kyiv on Thursday.
"The Ukrainian Security Service officially cautions foreign extremist organizations which, by virtue of their operations, are a means of aggression against Georgia's territorial integrity. We shall not tolerate the entanglement of our citizens, or expansion of such activities in Ukraine," Security Service acting head Valentyn Nalyvaichenko said.
