MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his British counterpart David Miliband have discussed the situation in the Caucasus, as well as a number of bilateral Russian-British issues at their meeting on the sidelines of the 63rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Friday.
"At the meeting the ministers exchanged their views on a number of international issues, including Iran's nuclear program, and the Middle East settlement process. They also discussed the situation as a result of the recent Georgian aggression against South Ossetia," the statement said.
The two countries' foreign ministers have also discussed a number of bilateral issues, it said.
