MOSCOW. Sep 29 (Interfax-AVN) - Special logistics maneuvers are to be held on October 1-4 as part of the Stability-2008 strategic command-and-staff military exercises in Russia.
"Structural units of the Federal Agency for State Reserves (Rosrezerv) and the Transnefteprodukt company will take part in the exercises," the Russian Armed Forces Logistics Service said in a statement on Monday.
The maneuvers will involve chief and central control departments and services, troops and organizations subordinate to the central Logistics Service, logistics structures of combat arms, military districts and navies, as well as military formations and troop units.
The exercises will be commanded by chief of the Armed Forces Logistics General Vladimir Isakov, the statement says.
