MOSCOW. Oct 1 (Interfax-AVN) - The defense concern Almaz-Antei will present detailed information on the S-400 Triumf missile systems missile systems at the Defendors International 2008 exhibit, which will be held in Athens, Greece, on October 7-11.
This will be the first time such information will be presented abroad.
"A real-size copy of the S-400 Triumf was exhibited to Russian and foreign experts during the MAKS 2007 international exhibit in Zhukovsky," an official with Almaz-Antei told Interafx on Wednesday.
The Almaz-Antei delegation is composed of members of its ten enterprises producing weapons and military equipment for the missile defense units, Interfax was told. Among these enterprises are the Ulyanovsk Mechanical Plant, NIEMI, the Altair radio electronic research institute, the Tikhomirov Instrument Engineering Research Institute, the company RATEP, the research association Strela, the Moscow Research Institute for Instrument Engineering, etc.
